400 Policy Governing Situations Without Official Campus Policy in Place
In circumstances where no official campus policy is in place, the University of Âé¶¹´«Ã½ will follow .
400.1 Vending Machines
Management and administration of vending machines and any associated term contract for such machines located on the University of Âé¶¹´«Ã½ campus and peripheral properties of the University, such as the Birch Creek Outdoor Recreation Center, Vigilante Field, etc., is under the direction of Student Life.
400.2 Petty Cash Funds
Âé¶¹´«Ã½ maintains a Petty Cash Fund on its premises.
400.3 Cash Change Funds
Âé¶¹´«Ã½ maintains Cash Change Funds.
400.9 Deferment of Fees
In accordance with Board of Regents Policy, the University of Âé¶¹´«Ã½ allows students to defer payment of fees in equal installments for the academic term.
400.10 Short Term Loan Fund
Âé¶¹´«Ã½ provides a Short Term Loan Fund for students to obtain short term funding for temporary and emergency school-related costs.
401.1 Facilities and Administration Costs
Âé¶¹´«Ã½ establishes a policy for the use of facilities and administration costs charged on specific grants and contracts to cover administrative overhead, provide seed money to develop new grant proposals, and support faculty research.
401.2 Payment or Expense Reimbursement for University Employees by Affiliated Organizations
Âé¶¹´«Ã½ governs the payment or expense reimbursement to or on behalf of UMW employees or departments by “affiliated foundations and organizations.â€
402.1 Eligibility for Financial Aid
Âé¶¹´«Ã½ will follow all applicable State and Federal policies with regard to determining eligibility for financial aid.
402.2 Standards of Satisfactory Progress for Financial Aid
Âé¶¹´«Ã½ will follow all applicable State and Federal regulations regarding eligibility for financial aid.
402.3 Transfer of Financial Aid to Another Institution
Financial aid awards, other than Pell Grants, are not transferable from one institution to another.
402.4 Return of Title IV Funds
Âé¶¹´«Ã½ will return Title IV Funds in accordance with Federal guidelines.
402.5 Internet-Only/eLearning Policy for Purpose of Tuition & Fees
Âé¶¹´«Ã½ will follow all applicable Montana University System (MUS) Board of Regents (BOR) for Internet Only/eLearning (IO/EL) students.
404.1 Charitable Giving Campaign
Once a year, charitable, non-profit organizations and federations may participate in a workplace fundraising campaign in accordance with established procedures.
